Description:
A weekend of life drawing to enliven ones soul! You will be stimulated with some fantastic visual references to start the weekend, a slide show of artists who have been inspired by the human form. We will then spend the rest of the weekend working from life, approaching the figure in many ways.
Content:
Different figures. Clothed and non-clothed models. Experimenting with and combining different materials. Gestural and developed studies. Drapery and cloth.
Objectives:
Create a series of studies of the human form. Experiment with different media to capture the human form. Gather lots of references for future use in paintings and sculptures etc. Gain a better understanding of the flow of the human form. Gain confidence with using artist quality materials.
Outcomes:
You will have a clearer understanding of techniques and approaches for capturing the human form.
