Full-time DD students can attend up to five on-site sessions per week, equivalent to 2.5 days / 15 hours.

Part-time DD students can attend up to three on-site sessions per week, equivalent to 1.5 days / 9 hours.

Description
The Painters Art covers the skills required to become an artist. This is not just about painting but knowing how to acquire the skills. We look at artists' techniques, their backgrounds and what made them successful as artists.

Content:
From 9.30 to 11.00 will be either a demonstration or talk. After this everyone will be able to develop their own projects under the guidance of the tutor. This suits a more advanced student but passionate beginners are welcome.

Objectives:
To develop sustainable art

Outcomes:
Greater range of skills to become a more successful artist

Required materials

a range of artist quality paints which can be decided on the first day in consultation with the tutor
