Distance delivery students

Full-time DD students can attend up to five on-site sessions per week, equivalent to 2.5 days / 15 hours.

Part-time DD students can attend up to three on-site sessions per week, equivalent to 1.5 days / 9 hours.

Description
The Design / Illustration - Advanced class is for students who have completed one or more of the Tuesday and Wednesday classes and are specialising in the subject.
I offer more detailed technical and conceptual assistance in individual seminars. If beginners / intermediates cannot timetable Tuesday or Wednesday you're welcome to come on the Monday.

Content:
* To provide concentrated one on one tutorial sessions
* Assistance with preparing business cards, portfolio formats, CV presentation and websites
* Briefs include but are not limited to - visual possibilities of metaphor, book jacket illustration, illustration for newspaper or magazine

Objectives:
* To further develop and refine your visual communication skills through intensive tutoring and seminar sessions
* To assist you to focus on your area of specialisation, with the aim of gaining professional experience

Outcomes:
* A deeper understanding of illustrative / design processes and practice
* Introduction to the requirements of the workplace with, wherever possible, practical work experience
