Studio: Jewellery Studio T2.08

Description:
You will explore the making of jewellery, using a combination of found objects and silver. You will extend the use of basic jewellery techniques, and learn about using various types of rivets. Learn how to make nuts and bolts, to join materials that can not be heated. Design and fabricate a quality piece of body adornment.
Content:
* Cold connections, rivets, nuts and bolts, design, concepts, fabrication
* Discussion/ feedback on finished work
Objectives:
To be able to design and fabricate a piece of jewellery using cold connection techniques.
Outcomes:
A piece of jewellery / body adornment. The knowledge and skills to use various types of rivets, to be able to use a miniature tap and die set to make nuts and bolts out of precious metals

Dependent on what you want to make.
Registration for Block 1 must be received by 5pm Monday 14th June.
Class lists will be finalized on Friday 18th June.
